On September 4, Santiago do Cacém hosted the launching ceremony “Caminhos de Santiago Alentejo Ribatejo” promoted by the Alentejo and Ribatejo Regional Tourism Entity and by the City Council of Santiago do Cacém. The ceremony was attended by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Ana Mendes Godinho, the President of the Regional Tourism Authority of Alentejo and Ribatejo, António Ceia da Silva, the Mayor of Santiago do Cacém, Álvaro Beijinha, the Bishops of Beja, Évora , Portalegre, among other civil, military and religious entities.
