The Santiago do Cacém City Council was represented by the municipality's Tourism sector at the 3rd Wine Territory Convention, which took place from January 30th to February 1st, in Lagoa. Representatives of municipalities and partner entities of the Association of Portuguese Wine Municipalities (AMPV), national and international, came together to agree strategies and present projects to develop and promote, jointly and in an integrated way, wine-growing territories.
In addition to promoting our wine-producing territory, represented by the brands Almejado and Curvatura, the Municipality's traditional sweets were also made known.
This meeting organized by AMPV “intended to bring together associated and partner municipalities, promoting a joint reflection on the work that is being developed and pointing out new lines of work, in addition to presenting AMPV's major projects and which are a reference for the promotion and valorization of territories, wine and national wine tourism”, revealed José Arruda, general secretary of AMPV.
